    Question about ETC's

I am building a rack that is going to hold 5 32qt tubs which ill use pieces of 11'' flexwatt and one shelf that will hold 6 hatchling tubs which i will use 1 long strip of 3'' flexwatt. I am wondering if a Ranco ETC-111000 Thermostat will be sufficient for this rack and also if anyone has any feedback about the ranco product. Thanks for the input!

    Re: Question about ETC's

for different size flex you need a different thermostat, unless you're using a herpstat PRO thing, the one with 4 outputs.

the flex will heat to different temps and you have the possibility of shorting something, its a fire hazard to say the least. If you only want to use one thermostat, use the same size flex on every shelf , then just make sure you dont go past the wattage (?) the thermostat is rated for.
