rack
i am new to royal pythons however i have fallen in love with them of late and would like to expand my collection.
in doing this i simply dont have the space to house as many as i would like to in vivs and whilst reasearching i stumbled across racks and am seriously considering making myself and my snakes 1.
having said this i have no clue where to begin in doing this and what i would need aswell as how much it would cost hense me coming on here for a bit of friendly advice please could some1 help me in advising me:
How to build a rack to house my collection?
What i will need for my rack in order for my snakes to be comfortable?
How much will it cost?
and if this is an effective way of housing multiple snakes?
Thankyou x

There are a lot of good threads and links to plans etc in the diy forum.
What you need is correct heat and humidity levels. So usually heat tape (or heat mats ), a thermostat and your golden.
Cost depends on the plans you choose - which depend on your individual needs as far as looks, ambient temps etc. If you build it right it should last you a while though so don't be afraid to invest in good quality.
Most of the money will likely go towards the thermostat and heating - which can of course be reused later if you upgrade.
And finally, this is an excellent way of housing multiple snakes.
