My space and Face book friends

I am on my space, not really by my own choosing...
I have relatives on there and sorta keep in contact with.
I have real friends and past friends that have sent me "Friends"
invites to Face book..
I am not on face book, not sure I want to be...
I am not the online social type, but one old friend I gamed with a year plus ago.. I would like to keep up with...
Is face book worth it?
I am 39 I kinda feel too old for some of this stuff! LOL
Any ideas??

I'm 38 and I have both. I can't use myspace on my home computer, because it won't load myspace pages. Dunno why.

The best thing about Myspace to me is the blog feature. The facebook hasn't got a blog, but you can put in extensive 'posts' that are almost like a blog. I don't socialize much on it, but it can be very convienant to keep in touch with others, what they are doing, there's a chat for your 'friends', private messaging, you can write on each other's pages, or just respond to postings on the main page.

I'm on facebook all the time. I put stuff I think is important up for others to see, or just stupid things that pop into my head. Respond to others to show I do care, or to joke at their posting. Plus there's some cute applications, like My Zoo, or FarmTown. I get a lot of invites to things I don't care about, but I just click 'no'.

Plus, Facebook has a option to change the whole page into pirate english! So all the things that would normally say "delete" say "Keelhaul!" and such. It's the little things that amuse me.

You might enjoy facebook more than myspace if you're feeling "too old." Myspace is full of teenage girls and guys with raging hormones. You're definitely not too old, though. My grandma was on myspace before she passed away, and a lot of my relatives are on it - many of them older than you. It's just a fun way to keep in touch with people.

Lol thats funny! My Grandma can't even use a computer. If you had to spell her name it would take her atleast 1/2 hour to fine all the keys! my mom just got one facebook (shes 56) and she absolutely loves it. My dad completely refuses to even think about making an account :p

I check my facebook several times a day. I have a myspace account but i dont use it. I love facebook. I found all my old friends from the military and several old friends from several years ago. Myspace is too busey, full of children and pedofiles.
Facebook is for Real people.

I do not see that option, where is it? Mine just says: English (US), English (UK) English (upside down), where is the pirate one?

I have an account on each site but I hardly ever use my Myspace one now. I am too hooked on FarmVille on Facebook Plus most of my friends and relatives are on Facebook now which also influenced me to move over.
