First Tarantula breeding....FAIL!

on the third night of introduction, my male C. fasciatum decided to run into the females little den without courting her......she ate him!!

no but my friend works for a invert company so he is going to get my a back up. hopefully a little larger alothough i think the male was big for the species. i also think im going to have him pick me up another female too....maybe one thats not so nasty!

i really like this species and hopefully i can pull of breeding them this year!
