Feeding...
This is something I thought of today. This is not something that I plan to do, but the other types of feeders, like lizards, and birds. Other than price, what would be the downside of feeding your BP a leopard gecko or a chick. My guess would be that a BP may benefit more due to "variety".
Whats your thought or knowledge on this?

Re: Feeding...
Considering their natural prey are ASFs and gerbils, I dont think ( I cant say I know) that birds or lizards are part of their diet in the wild.
Why would you want to feed a BP anyting but rodents anyway?
Edit: Ive just watched some vids of people feeding birds to BPs. I guess you can. I wouldnt, and wont.

Re: Feeding...
I'm sure they occasionally do take birds, reptiles, etc as prey in the wild, but I wouldn't really think it could benefit them to offer it.

Re: Feeding...
What would be the upside of it? Human entertainment? Why feed them something else if they do great with what they have? Besides that, Bp's can become imprinted on certain foods. I personally wouldn't want to buy a gecko or bird every week.

Re: Feeding...
i always hang out with my snakes and gecko at the same time and nothing has happened yet. I don't think there programmed by nature to even be attracted to eating something like that.
