    Daytona!!!!

Wow so Daytona was pretty amazing as usual. There were a bunch of FWC officers there cracking down on all the regulations. I saw a couple burm breeders and I was really surprised that they would even try to bring them down and try to sell them. It didn't seem like they were having to much luck. I Was very happy on what I picked up this year! I picked up a nice female Spider ball for only $100 a western hognose for $35, An albino Radiated rat that someone bought for me for $30. And another female ball python for $10. An my pride and joy a patternless snow pinesnake for $180. It was a very exciting event It seemed like there were more of a variety this year then any of the couple past years. I am just really really exhausted from all that walking and excitement. I will post up pics later

You can still sell the large constrictors there but if your out of state you have to have them shipped to you and if your in state you have to have your roc permit

Yea I know that but why would you even try to sell them there knowing that not that many people will buy them there and it is just more work to deal with.

    Re: Daytona!!!!

Why try to sell a banana ball there? Im sure there wasnt a bunch of people walking around with 20 grand in there pocket ready to buy it but the vendor still brought it. Im sure he wasnt really expecting a bunch of serious interest in it but still wanted people to be able to enjoy the beauty of the animal in person. There is a difference in seeing an animal online and in person and I for one am very happy that they brought burmese pythons there. Most of the burms were hypos and I think everyone should be able to enjoy a good hypo in person because they are just mindblowing and im sure they didnt expect to sell a lot and im sure they didnt expect to sell the lucy burms but still brought them so people could enjoy the site. Contrary to popular belief the burm market is not "dead".

    Re: Daytona!!!!

Yea I understand that whole point but why pay that much money to vend at the largest show in the us and just try to sell Burms in FL. that just didn't make any sense to me. I would understand a couple with some other stuff but just burms I don't really get. But oh well it was cool seeing them I just didn't understand why they would have them and not sell much. I could see the ball pythons cause some people can afford a ball and you don't need the ROC permit to have them. yet....
