    Fruit in there diet?

    So i was talking to someone who told my they use to mash up mangos and peachs together and freed a teaspoon to there leo's every so often?

    Has anyone else ever heard of this? Done this? or know if leo's can digest fruit?

    I'm sure there would be some that wouldn't mind a lick or two of fruit... but as for offering it as a meal-- i wouldn't. Leos are insectivores... plain and simple, they might eat it... but they won't do well if it becomes more than just a treat.

    +1 to what tina_t said; I honestly doubt most leos would even eat it. Dunno about yours, but mine certainly doesn't go after anything that's not moving. On top of that, fruit wouldn't smell like something they'd normally eat. Some might lick it out of curiosity, because they tend to investigate the world with their tongues, but I doubt it'd go beyond that.
