I too adopted a ball from a friend with a burn. His previous owner had put unprotected heat lamps in the tank. She took him to the vet the first time and was given burn cream and antibiotics. I had to soak him daily and apply the burn cream to the infected area every day. He was on antibiotics/burn cream for 2 or 3 months.

I would get him checked out by a vet. The burns look pretty fresh still. Mine had 3rd degree burns. Also when mine shed the first couple times after the burn he bled from the area of the burn...poor baby. It made it difficult for him to shed in one piece. He is doing really well now and his scales are growing over the white burn area.
