My new baby female Pastel bit me. Didnt hurt of course but i just want to know what the reasons may have been...Just picked her up today from the Daytona expo..

maybe stress? but she's been out and exploring her cage
    hunger?
maybe she's just mean! (i really hope not)

Well you did just get her today and she is a hatchling so it is completely normal. She will probably cruise her tank/tub for a while then find a hide and stay in there. Leave her alone for a week, feed her, and handle her after a few days. She will settle down in time.

    1) She's just a baby
    2) She has been thrust into a new environment, has probably traveled many miles, has been exposed to hundreds of people looking at her, bright lights, is completely stressed out.
    3) Needs time to acclimate without handling (a week is recommended)
    4) Sees you as a predator on top of all her stress.

Give your bp a weekish to settle down, just during that course make sure you have the tank setup properly(read a caresheet we have), then try again. I personally would attempt to feed after a week and then wait 2 more days, but that's just me.

Don't handle it for 2 weeks and let it acclimate to its new surroundings.
I know its tough not being able to handle you snake for 2 weeks but it will definitely help out.
