I hope so! But I'm saving up now! 410 for rack, ranco thermo, and thermometer.... that's just to house the one snake for now.... then I'm going to save for the new snake and another ranco thermostat for the second housing in the rack <3. *does little jig*

I don't think you will need a second thermostat. The one you are getting can be used to control all 3 tubs. In fact I'd recommend it this way. The rack you are getting has identical shelves with identical tubs. You'd secure the thermostat probe on the heat tape/cable (not in the tub) on one of the shelves, away from where the tubs slides in and out. This will maintain all 3 shelves at the same heat over the hotspot.

Placing the thermostat in the tub has its issues, if the ball gets to it it can dislodge the probe and this can cause the thermostat to push power to the heating to try and get the dislodged probe to the set temperature. Very dangerous ......

Instead of getting a second thermostat I'd recommend getting a few digital thermometers, these will be invaluable in monitoring the temperatures in the tubs. In fact you will need a thermometer to set the thermostat correctly.

If you do get a second t/stat then you can use it as a backup in case the first thermostat dies
