No for some reason it was already off when I got it but since it's f/t I bet that things could snap of easily so I guess that's what happened to the tail.

Well at least he eats. Every time I put a pinkie in there my Hog just opens his mouth really wide and bites down onto it and starts eating it even if I'm still holding the pinkie lol.

Great to hear, especially on thawed mice!
