I agree in that I would have at least asked if they were actually $15 and bought them if they were. It's no different from a rescue. Although I doubt any store owner got albino balls cheap enough to sell for 15 bucks... Beyond that it's up to the person as to what you do with them. In my case, if they were a pair, I'd keep em.

Well I don't have a rescue, and the one thing stopping me from getting another snake is I can't properly QT right now. I don't really like albino snakes, couldn't really tell you why.

It is a bummer. Here is a 'local' shop, using snakes as substrate for other snakes.
