I am the first to say that I have been hard on them. The other day was the first time I ever saw them admit that they sell Ian's animals. A couple years ago I was very much on the anti flipper bandwagon. I then began to realize that there needs to be some distinction. My problems these days aren't with flippers so much as with people who resell and either lie about it or sell sick snakes.

I absolutely apologize to JnJ for any harm my words caused them. They have a stellar reputation and that is really what should count.

I am officially retiring the word flipper from my vocabulary.

It's very easy to get sucked into a wolfpack mentality on message boards. Sometimes it's warranted and the scumbags get the beating they deserve. Sometimes the lines get blurred. As a buyer, take everything into consideration and do what you feel is best.

I know of some damnfine Wolfpacks. Why I may even be a member of one or two my own self.

You are correct about consideration of everything, it is very important.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Exactly. Many years ago I prebought a snake from someone who hadn't produced it yet. I kept in regular contact and was given a running commentary on when the snakes were breeding and when she was ovulating and when the eggs were laid etc etc etc... finally received the snake and then found out later that the guy I had bought it from had purchased him from someone else and the whole running history I was told was one big web of lies. The snake I got was great, he looks good, I got him for a good price, and he's been a great breeder. But it STILL irks me that I was lied to like that, and this was many years ago.

Yup. I have personally bought animals from people that claimed to have bred them and then found out later that they only resold snakes. The animals are all in great condition and have done well for me.

    Thumbs up Re: JnJ reptile?

I purchased a few animals from JnJ a couple years ago.

No complaints here. Smooth easy transaction. Shipped properly. Healthy good looking animals.

I would purchase from them again and recommend them to anyone who may be considering.

Just to add my experience with JnJ to this. When I purchased my het albino from them, I also got a certification/pedigree signed by Ian G. himself. They were very honest and were more than willing to provide me with all the info I needed.
