First your setup tells me that this isn't true
i have read a lot about breeding and have every thing i think i need
You made the right move coming here, however housing together is not the way to breed. Introducing for periods of a few days in order to allow breeding however is.
Are both of the animals of breeding weight and age?
Are both properly sexed as male and female?
Do you have housing for baby's when or if they come?
Do you have an incubator ready to go?
Can you feed 4-10 new snakes for weeks even months.
Can you properly house them for weeks or months.
All things you'll need to look into before even thinking about breeding.
I'd suggest you check out http://8ballpythons.com/journal.htm the breeding section..
Get them individual setups and read up some more..

Re: Breeding Q
1) What are their specific weights?
2) What size cage do you have them in?
3) Are they in together constantly or do you separate them for short periods?
4) What size rack do you have and how many tubs does it have?

Re: Breeding Q
You might need more than six tubs. While most ball pythons lay around 5-7 eggs (sometimes less), ball pythons CAN lay up to 12 eggs. What size are the tubs in the rack.
We are asking a lot of questions because breeding just isn't something you decide to do one day. It involves a lot of research, planning, preparation, and patience. You need to make sure you have everything ready for your hatchlings when they arrive.
Do you have an incubator? Do you know what temperature to incubate at? Do you have vermiculite or now how to prepare it?
What happens if your female becomes egg bound? Do you have the money to take her to the vet?

Re: Breeding Q
Well it sounds like you're ready to go, but I would put your male and female on a schedule. A few days together, a few days apart. On the days you have them apart (I do a week on, a week off) attempt to feed. (I don't bother offering to the female unless she's acting hungry) Keeping them together constantly will stress them both out.
