83 degrees isnt warm enough.. they need about 89-90 belly temp.
as for suggestions, try feeding live, f/t, prekilled.
if he regurged, then the meal was to big. usually thats the case.

I thought the temps should be 82-84 degrees ( i am getting this out of the book "corn and rat snakes by Philip Purser.) i have another book around here sumwhere, but i deff thought that the temps should never get up to 90 degrees.....but i could be totally wrong there...
alot of those books were produced A LONG time ago so just check out the care sheet on here. i could be wrong as well lol
