Is there a leo morph calculator?
I was wondering if there is a leo morph calculator like there is for corns. I have a sunglow female that is currently 18g and I want to breed her either next season or the season after and I want to start getting an idea of what I'd like to breed her with.

This is what everyone uses for leo's. Not sure if this is what you were looking for or not though: http://www.geneticswizard.com/f_star...ics_wizard.asp

Re: Is there a leo morph calculator?
Well I'm not sure that morphs are co-dominant, dominant, or recessive. I guess I'm going to have to do a lot more research. I can normally figure out codom, dom, and recessive genetics if I know what is what. (I do punnet squares in my free time)
For example, my leo is a sunglow, so she has super hypo tangerine carrot tail and albino, and I was told mine had tremper albino. So the albino would be....recessive?

Re: Is there a leo morph calculator?
It doesn't say what SHTCT is as far as codom, dom, or recessive. But if I were to breed my sunglow girl to a SHTCT, I'd get SHTCT het for albino?

SHTCT is a line bred trait. The babies from a SHTCT will vary between Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tails, Hypo Tangerine Carrot-Tails, Super Hypo Tangerines, Hypo Tangerines, Super Hypo Carrot-Tails, Hypo Carrot-Tails, Tangerine Carrot Tails, Carrot Tails, Tangerines, Super Hypos, Hypos, and Normals. Unlike a Co-dom morph where the super form produces all het form (like a Super Pastel BP x Normal BP = all Pastels). In other words, you'll have to look at the babies to see what all they got.
So you'll get Het Albinos with varrying amounts of the SHTCT genes if your Sunglow is bred to a Normal. If she's bred to a SHTCT, the babies will just have a better chance of receiving the SHTCT genes since they can get them from either parent.

Re: Is there a leo morph calculator?
Thanks! So the babies will have a better chance of not being normal basically and an increased chance of displaying varying SHTCT genes, and all babies will be het for albino.
Oh and she has pink eyes. Any ideas on the genetics of that?
