Thanks for the info. I knew that it was a bad time right now. Although I did get a Desert Massasauga at my uncles place four hours west of here about two weeks ago. I will try again in the fall. It is just too hot right now. I have been out right after rain, during light rains, when rain is in the distance, no rain, full moon, no moon, you name it I have been out looking. The only thing I think I am doing wrong is getting out to late. I think they are a earlier snake. Like around 6-9 pm what. What do you think? I have been treating them like they were Massasauga's, as far as time. They are pretty close snakes. Where in Texas are you from?
