Post-shed Toby pics...
Toby shed today (perfectly in one piece), and if I must say so myself, he looks stunning!! His damaged scales from the last shed look mostly healed now, and his contrast really seems more dramatic. Anyway, here are a million photos...
First a weighing - he's gained ~30g in 10 days, but hasn't pooped in a while.

Wazzat??

I think I'll stay over here...

Re: Post-shed Toby pics...
Nice looking BP. If he were mine, I'd be really leery of putting him in direct contact with a cat like that though; if either the cat or the snake decided that the other was a threat and/or food, things could get VERY ugly far too quickly for human intervention. (Obviously your snake and your cat, so you can do what you think is right - the above is only my opinion, etc, etc...)

Re: Post-shed Toby pics...
Thanks for the comments... and I didn't put the cat in contact, she just came up out of nowhere (the neighbor's yard, I think). But I was watching very closely, and know I can trust those two particular animals. Toby & Mona completely ignore the cats/dogs, whereas I know Delilah feels threatened, so they're not allowed near her. Don't worry, I am experienced in having multiple species co-exist! Between my and my roommate's pets, the circle of life is fully represented in our house.

Poor choice of words on my part, perhaps. I should have said something more like "allow snake/cat contact to occur." That said, you obviously have experience with how your animals react to things and are therefore in a much better position to gauge their probable behavior than I am. If you feel that it's an acceptable risk (which your previous experience seems to support), that's 100% your decision. I just see it from the perspective that both cats and snakes can at times be unpredictable, and therefore should be treated cautiously in general, especially given that they are both strong and in possession of sharp, pointy weapons.

Re: Post-shed Toby pics...
Of course, I am always cautious when the snakes are out... it's not like I let them all wander unattended, LOL. They only come out maybe once a day for 15-20 minutes, and I usually try to keep the bigger animals away - although Rudy the dog is actually their "guardian," so he could easily be trusted with them.
Anyway, that's a discussion for another thread!
