So I went to the reptile show..

Female charcoal cornsnake. Proven breeder too. I held her at the show and fell in love. Once I got her home, I offered her the mouse I got at the show and well, he didn't last long.

There was a male charcoal also for sale, but she was a lot more vivid in her markings. There were some ball pythons for sale for a lot cheaper (she was $100), but parents are worried that the bp will strangle the dogs/cats and eat them. I suppose they're worried bps get the size of the retic we saw lol. So, compromised and got this girl.

I might. I don't know much about corn snake genetics. I think she's a doll though lol. Keeps hanging out at the water bowl.

Well, there is always time to learn ;]. I do love how corns get those awesome colors and patterns. It's just too amazing to be true. They are so beautiful, and with most corns their colors really stand out and make them look absolutely gorgeous :].

she's beautiful!!! What a great pick up. And it's always nice when they have a temperament to match the beauty. What did you decide to name her???

Well, I pulled her out of the tank for a bit and she was exceptionally calm. Hung out on my shoulders for a bit while I did some computer stuff. She was fairly fidgety at the show, but I can't really blame her. I can say that the pictures do her no justice. Once she completely settles in, I'll get some better pictures of her, what's nice is that she seems to be settling in quite quickly. She's also very curious. I'm absolutely thrilled with my girl lol.

Morana is still a bit fidgety, but she's doing better.


She's pretty inquisitive when I mess with her. I assume it's because she wasn't handled very much before I got her.


Shortly after this, she decided it would be fun to see what's under the mysterious black fabric O.o snakes are cold fyi.


Very nice markings. She has a slight bit of yellow around her head.


Her favorite hobby: hanging out around my neck/on my shoulders.
