    Steve the RI survivor

Thanks to all who helped me out with the whole RI thing, and it really paid off because he is 100% better. He also shed earlier this week, so his colors are just glowing. Here are some pictures of him. (ya I'm taking a lot of pictures because this camera is fun to take pictures with.. don't blame me I'm excited!)

I don't think steve is an MBK. I think he's got some VERY strong Baja influence there. I think the species is conjucta, but am not positive and don't have a field guide handy.

I've never seen a full blooded nigritis with any kind of striping at all.

I have produced a few of them, though not for a while.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

When I went to the vet he told me it was a MBK. He said they can vary in colors and patterns too, so I'm just going to go with MBK until I find out what he really is.

I'm sure your vet is an expert and quite experienced with the differences between appearences of different species of kings.

I mean, vets are never wrong. Are they....
