Anyone in NC ever been to the Serpentarium?

I've read an awesome article about it, and it seems worth the trip. The website it pretty cool too. Wanted to get some feedback from people who have been there.

So worth it! I went about 3 years back, and it was freakin' awesome!If you don't go, I'll get very mad at you... lol, but seriously, you need to go if you're within a 4 hour drive (I lived in Raleigh at the time), or 1 hour flight. It's a really fun area to be overall, a lot of places to visit and see besides the Serpentarium.

Kewl! I live in NJ, so it's gonna be like 12 hours or so drive. My mom and i were thinkin about going to the area for a weekend, for my birthday in January. Not for vacation this year, cause we got other plans already.
