I'm a little confused.

When people here recommend adding plants, branches, etc, you have to make sure they're secure and that the snake won't knock them down. At the same time, people often recommend using a piece of cardboard to reduce the space in a large tank to make it more snug for a smaller snake. SInce you can't use tape inside the enclosure, how do you secure the cardboard well enough to keep the snake from knocking it down or squeezing past into the blocked off area?

On the same note, it seems to me that using cardboard for this would get old, since you'd have to replace it every time you clean the cage, no? Maybe a sturdy piece of plexi or something similar (ie, easy to clean) would be better?
