Re: New Mojave (as inquired about in genetics section)
Ohhhh that's exciting to hear! I can't wait for this season! Any pair recommendations? I'm totally open, haha.

I'd say a Fire or a Pastel..

Re: New Mojave (as inquired about in genetics section)
P.S. I hope the poster of these pictures doesn't mind me using him, but here is a "normal" clutch mate of his. It looks very much like a Cinnamon to me, and to the poster in the genetics forum! I was kind of holding back hope on this being a double morph, but I can't help but get a bit excited now

Re: New Mojave (as inquired about in genetics section)
So people in this forum see the cinny in it! And posting my pic of the sib is fine by me . If this really turns out to be a combo you got a STEAL. I saw you walking around with it and it is a niiiice snake. You have to give us updates on what it produces!

Re: New Mojave (as inquired about in genetics section)
Thanks again!! Haha, and that's so weird that you saw me at the show with it--very surreal! Yeah at the price I got it for it was a steal even for a nice near-breedable Mojave, if it turns out to be a double morph I'd be totally stoked. I'm thinking of breeding him to a Normal with a nice vertebral stripe and a nice Pastel as well. It'll be so much fun waiting to see if I got something different! The possibilities of just a Pastel pairing makes me excited! Anywho, again, I really appreciate it everyone!

Re: New Mojave (as inquired about in genetics section)
I see nothing going on there apart from mojave, from those pics anyway.
I CBA to find the other thread where this was discussed but were the people questioning the genetics people who work with mojave or not?
No disresect to any of the posters invovled, i've not seen the thread, but this forum is *very* good at seeing morphs where there aren't any (ie 'is this a fire/YB/cinnie' threads etc etc)
I only say this because often people get excited by older mojaves because they have only ever seen neonates and never grown on/adults and the colour change in mojaves (as with all of the BEL snakes) from neonate to adult is very pronounced.
A few more pictures would certainly be useful!

Re: New Mojave (as inquired about in genetics section)
I'll get some more pictures of him up soon. Just for perspective, this is a ~350 gram, 2008 hatchie male. I don't take any offense to your comments though, it's mostly just something to get excited about proving (or disproving). The Cinny thoughts are coming from the faded eye stripes more than the color though I think--that and the fact that the siblings look like cinnamons. Anywho, either way I'm going to breed him out this season and see for myself! I'll be sure to share the results as well!
