I have heard that enviromental factors can effect the pattern on normals but if it were me I would hold back both animals posted and try proving the granite to be genetic. And I think that is one of the most attractive lessers I have seen. but I am kinda partial to granites and thats just cuz I think they have the potential to be a really cool enhancer morph on projects that haven't been seen yet.
