bit of blood on shed skin..

To begin, my first ball just shed and it was awesome to actually witness it. It came off in one long piece but I noticed a bit of blood on the skin that came off by the vent. It's such a small amount but it still concerns me..any idea what this might be and if its something to worry about.

dub it a hackneyed, faux demeanor; you'll ultimately stand corrected.

Re: bit of blood on shed skin..

It is pretty normal and would only be a problem if it didn't stop or was a large quantity of blood. It's just where the dead skin separates from the live skin inside the cloaca...
