More eggs, but a question/possible problem?
My mojave girl finally dropped over the night last night. She gave me 5 good eggs and one slug. She was bred mostly by my mojave male, but I threw in my pastel a few times just for fun, so hopefully I get a BEL or pastave.
Anyways, I went to remove the eggs from her and she wasn't having it, and in the process several of the eggs got jostled and rolled over. I tried my best to return them to their original orientation when I put them in the incubator.
So my question is will the be OK after being rolled around? I'm hoping that since its so early all is OK. Thoughts?

I had that happen last year with my Bee clutch.
Orient it the best way you think, and they should be fine.

i talked to a few ppl including brian at bhb, and he said that it takes about 12 hours for the air bubble to even set. i believe there is also a guy on here who is purposly turning his eggs to see if they would have any ill affect. i cant remember his name but feel free to chime in and help me out ppl.

Tim flipped an egg upside down as an experiment to see if it would have a negative affect, and the embryo and the yolk apparently corrected themselves before setting, and the egg was doing fine last I heard.

OK, thanks for all the replies! I candled them and they're all still fertile, so hopefully no damage was done.

Re: More eggs, but a question/possible problem?
The first egg we flipped when it was laid. That egg will be hatching in a day or 2. The second egg, we flipped after it had been in the incubator for 48 hours. That egg is also still fine, and is about half way through incubation. At the request of another member, we are going to flip one more egg 2 weeks into incubation. I am just waiting for the right clutch, as I have my doubts that that egg will make it.
With all of that said, you can rest easy tonight. Your egg will be fine (based on having that issue in past years, and based on my experiments from this year).
