It doesn't always go as planned
These "eggs" are from a 2500 gram girl. We weren't sure if she was ever going to lay. These are either the world's smallest Ball Python eggs or the world's healthiest looking slugs.

These are the first slugs I have gotten that arent that yellow color and rock hard. These actually feel like eggs. They are just tiny. Weird...

Hope I'm wrong though!
I fully believe they are slugs. I will candle them though before I throw them out. Sucks but it's been a good season so I am pretty happy.

Those are "fresh" slugs they will turn darker yellow and hard if left for 10 or 12 hours. Always hate to see slugs. I had my first clutch off all slugs in 2 years a few months back. A mojo ghost to a pastel 100% het ghost

Thanks Neil. I guess I had never caught slugs that fresh. I had a move this year and this is my most skiddish girl. Could have been a factor but we'll see how she does in the future.
Sorry to hear about the slugs in what would have been an awesome clutch.
To add insult to injury, last night I found this egg in my DH Caramel Glow x Het Caramel clutch at day 37. I cut it open today and it was obviously dead and deformed.
