It depends if you are breeding for something special... If you want killerbees and have 1.0 pastels, then you would want 0.1 bees...

If you are getting one for a pet, it does not matter what gender, and since males are generally cheaper, that might be the best option.

If you are getting one because you can, and you might breed it later on, I would suggest going with a female, because, like mentioned earlier, she is a combo...

It depends what you have already..

If you don't have a combo male yet, it is well worth it to invest in at least one quality breeder male.

If I had a couple normal females and a couple base morph females and a couple base morph females, and no combo males yet, I might pick up a male bee versus a female bee.
