    wilomn, I do agree with you that it is a much more humane way than to let them suffer, or to have them die by other means.
    However, having the hands-on experience with euthanasia (An injection of over-dose amounts anesthesia and other substances) I would much rather my snakes go that way, where they literally fall asleep and then everything shuts down, within a matter of minutes, than to have them in my freezer.
    I am by no means trying to start an argument, and I very much appreciate you telling about the exotic vet and your experience.
    I will say, in the past I have been horrified by the thought of snakes in the freezer, but have learned (an continue to do so) that it is not as bad as a mammal in the freezer.
    But given the 2 options, injection or freezing, I would choose injection hands down.
