Your forgetting to take into account peoples beliefs that are not like your own. In many areas of the U.S. a simple skull is representative of just that, death and macabre.
This is something that I learned quickly in basic training when I was mixed together with folks from all over the place.

Personally, I like the idea and the logo would not cause me to be reluctant to do business with you.
