Re: how should i fatten up my snake

I'm kind of having an issue understanding what you're wanting to do, so i'm going to assume that you want to make your snake fat, since your late on the breeding season?

If that is the case, I wouldn't recommend making your snake "fat" as it will cause them to be obese and lead to an early death, or a very unhealthy snake.

If you can't make breeding season, then I wouldn't try to over feed your snake. Your snake relys on you to take care of her. However maybe I can offer you some insight as far as feeding. If you are feeding her once a week, try feeding her a nice meal every 5 days, just make sure its the same size as the thickest part of her body.

Why would you feed her twice a week? Just give her one proper size meal every 5 days. I also don't know any information on your snake, as you never stated what kind you had.

I say hook her up to an air pump and fatten her up that way.

Saves a lot of time. Especially on imaginary snakes.

Little tip for you - write in complete sentences so that people can actually understand your posts. Don't write in text "speak".

Secondly - you've told us nothing about your snake. The species, the current weight (in grams), length, age. There's more than just size to consider with breeding. There's the overall condition of the snake (well toned, not fat), and age to consider as well.

Not to mention all the expenses involved in breeding (incubator, thermostat, baby rack, another thermostat to control the baby rack, etc).
