    Re: King that's always aggressive..

Well, this snake is no longer a part of my collection. It is located at my local (not really that local.. kinda far from my house lol) reptile store where I get my mice/rats for my snakes. He's so mean to me, but happens to be a sweet little guy to the employees there.. I am so jealous of their snake-taming-ness. And yes Zack, I mean you lol. Still can't even believe that he didn't even try to bite you or anything while handling him.. you have to have magic snake-hands or something because every time I was gentle to him and picked him up he tried eating my fingers :[

As I stated before, he isn't a part of my collection anymore. Well, don't think you read what I last put on this second page. But he seems to be very happy now at the reptile store.

This may be the most ridiculous post I have ever read. Not only is the information incorrect, but it's complete unintelligible. MBD would be extremely rare (and I am not even aware that it's possible) in snakes that eat rodents. Feeding snakes in their enclosures is certainly not a "big no no" as you claim. Wait, my brain just exploded...Have to go rest now...

MBD... as in metabolic bone disease... in a snake... ? Srsly? You should really get your facts straight before posting, because the occurrence of that disease in snakes that eat rodents is so rare it's almost nonexistent. They consume whole prey, and ingest and breakdown bone - they get all the calcium they need from their diet. When was the last time you sprinkled your mouse w/ calcium/D3 supplement?

    AHAHHAAh.

Let's see if I can break this down a little bit.

Well, sounds like a mean little guy. He might be so small because of MBD. (MBD, that's a good one.) And now for the taming. Do you feed in the cage? Cause that's a big no no. (It is most certainly not.) Umm, well, you said you held him every day and it worked well, so keep doing it maybe. Well this works with my sav, off topic, but anyway set your hand in the tank like a fist and sit it there (Why would you do that? To promote striking and cage aggression?) and then he will know it's not a treat also if you feed live it my make him mean(Not likely. Thousands of breeders feed live all the time with no problems. Also, how would that make him mean?) cause I have a sav, again off topic, but I have 2 snakes also, but anyway I did that and tamed him down and if you have to buy snake gloves to hold him with.
Well now. Makes a bit more sense.

Hey, you guys caught a troll.

    Congrats.

Now, stop feeding the darn thing and maybe it'll go away.

    Re: King that's always aggressive..

LOL, I feed my rufous beaked snake in his tank, hes as nice as ever, just the little booger never sits still when I hold him, and hes darn quick.

My anaconda I feed out of the tank only to make sure she doesnt end up eating cypress while eating a mouse, so I feed her in a kritter keeper on top of paper towels.

Both of my snakes eat live, they are both the sweetest thing, especially my anaconda, shes adorable and a sweet heart.

Snakes aren't geckos, or lizards or anything of that nature, so they don't require any supplements.
