Shark week

It begins tomorrow! My favorite week of summer!!

As an avid fisherman, occasional SCUBA diver/free diver, and lover of toothy creatures, shark TV shows are just about my favorite thing to watch.

What kind of fishing do you do?? I love shark week also...

But I also like to get out to the Gulf of Mexico for this:



On rare occasions I get to do something like this, aussie fishing out of Perth, Sambo jigging:

A big shark bit into my catch and took me for a ride nearly pulling the rod out of my hands, then eventually chewed it's way through and made off with the back 3/4 of the fish.

My parents live in Alaska, so I like to make trips northward to help them fill the freezer in the garage for the year:

OK, I remember commenting on that post. I need to get out and do some tuna fishing myself, it has been a whole YEAR!

I cant wait! I have all the dvds. Sharks have been a favorite animal of mine since I was a child

I love to fish and I live right next to the Gulf of Mexico, but I have never fished there, I here it is really good. Anyway, I usually fish in the lakes here in Houston, usually getting perch and catfish, and I plan on trying to get bass the next time I go.

There aren't many things I miss about TV, but Shark Week is in the top 3! I adore sharks and loved the programs they would show during this wonderful week.

SIGH, guess I'll have to get the DVDs...
