    Rat Breeding temps?

    I am keeping the rats in my basement in a rack I built and the temp down there is around 75-77 is that ok for breeding?

    they typically will breed but 50-70 would be ideal higher than that and they tend to produce less.

    ok thanks! Any ideas on how to try and cool the basement down a little bit? I have one window in the basement and have a screen in it to allow air flow into the basement would a fan in that window drop the temps better? Highs right now get into the 80-90 degree range right now. I shouldn't ha too much of a problem in the winter I don't think. Any help or advice would be appreciated!
