Hey, we share the same birthday... although I was born a little before 2009, LOL! (I consider our little one to be a belated birthday present.)

"Amber" was the first name that came to mind.

    Re: And She is Here!!!!!

    Hi,

I wouldn't offer again so soon - it can just add to the stress of a new environment.

Let her be completely for at least a week - no handling except for unavoidable cage cleaning and no more offers of food.

It won't hurt her to wait another 7 days for her meal and might make her more inclined to take it as long as she feels secure in her environment.

It really depends on your supplier, because I buy F/T "adult" mouses and they do not seem to be that fat. Check out what they have, ask to see sizes.

    Re: And She is Here!!!!!

Oh yeah.... and in the process of feeding her.... she hissed at me and tagged me.... She was being weird so I had to pick her up to move her and some of the bushes that are in the tank... she hissed at me then.... then while holding her I grabbed up the F/T mouse by the scruff of the neck (of course with my hand, I have not used a pair of tongs yet), well that was all it took... I barely had the mouse in front of her and she struck!!! nicked the tip of my finger as she hit the mouse.....
