Red face Just some simple questions about heat and lighting

I have our female Normal Ball in a 20 Long tank and she loves it. My question is what would the best kind of overhead tank lighting or heat lamp should I purchase? Right now im using a zoo med heat pad under her hide, and a 75watt hood fixture laying on the screen cover on the basking side of her enclosure. But at night I feel that it does not stay as warm as it should with the 75watt bulb. Any suggestions wold be appreaciated....

Unless your house is -30* I think that you have enough heat going on lol. A little more info is needed. What are her temps at night and during the day. hot and cold side and the hot spot? A UTH in most cases will get the job done by itself. I suggest you get a thermometer and check out the temps. I think she must be really hot. In my 20 long for one of my females, I have just a uth and it reaches 94* for a hot spot. some argue its to much but i dont see any negative side effects of having the heat 2 degrees higher. You need her warm temp at 88 - 90 and her cool side at 82-85. More info will be very appreciated.

I have a thermometer on each side of the tank but not a probe kind. The (hide side) stays around 80 to 84 degrees, and the hot side stays around 92 degrees. She stays in her hide most of the time. I thought about getting a digital therm. / controller so I can more closely control her temps.
Also how do you put pics on your posts? If you could tell me how I will put some pics on here..

go to tiny pic and upload the picture..it will give you a couple options. You want to use the forum code..and just paste it here..not the website or email one..the forum..it says it next to the code! lol..and yes you need digital thermometers! they are awesome and more accurate! Try to get her a hide for the hot spot as well..you need two. your temps are fine..i would get a cheap 30 dollar on off thermostat for the light though..dont plug the uth into it and let it do its thing.. mess with the controls and tweak it to the temps you want..but remember..dotn mess with it to much of you will put the snake into a temp shock. if you need any more info just message me ill love to help..and sorry for the typos lol im multitasking..not that easy for me!
