My tegu!

Tegus are such great lizards i wouldnt trade mine for anything.
In a years time you wont believe it was that small lol.

I know they hate to be restrained.

Mine was flighty for a while but now he is super chill. also love to poo and pee on everything and everyone.

I hear they go through a "terrible twos" stage and then go back to being nice usually.

Wow, great looking tegu! Congrats on your new addition, and BigLu that pic is sweet! Incidently, I just picked up my new girl last night - will have to post a pic or two later. So far she's burrowed (cypress mulch) under the water bowl, getting her bearings from the big move

Thanks! he is actually not that new. I have had him since last september. He had hibernated and then i just got to watch him grow. Now he should be due for hibernation again soon, i really hope he does go down this year cause i gotta get a bigger cage!
