Surprise! My first hatchlings.

So it was 4am and I decided to check up on my day 59 corn snake eggs.

I open the tub and this is what's looking back at me.




And then this morning, another pip. :]



I didn't cut and wasn't planning on it. The first one out looked like I cut her egg though because she cut a perfect triangular cut.. haha.
The mother was Amelanistic and the father was Normal. Which means the normal dad was Het Amel or Het Hypo. I can't tell much of a difference of hypo and amel, though I'm pretty sure the first one out is Amel.
If anyone can confirm that she is an Amel that would be great. :]

I'm pretty sure she's female, I popped her and her tail is tiny. This is my first ever clutch though, and I basically saved these babies. I'm glad they're coming out so nicely!

My first attempt didn't go through with corns. Sadly these aren't results of my own breedings, but rather from someone who bred without knowing what to do.

awesome, nothing like it.. just done exactly the same myself half an hour ago.. you never get bored of watching corns hatch, whatever morph they are.

Those are definitely amel. No mistaking it. Give away are the eyes, hypos don't have pink eyes.
