handing issues
oh no .. what have i done?? i try to handle my snakes everyday at different times because they eat in their vivs so i do not want them realising when it gets dark if i go in there it is for feeding. Well i have been busy this month with lots of ill reptiles so i haven't had the chance to handle them in the evening for a while and i just went to do it and my burmese, 2 of my boas and even one of my tame royals went or me :S .. am bit worried as to how i am going to solve this as i don't really wanna be messing with an annoyed 8ft burm.. thanks jodie

Re: handing issues
Yeah, I don't think I'd like to tangle with a burm either. I hear that when they strike they make sure you feel it.
Its odd for that many snakes to strike at you in such a short period of time. Did you forget to wash your hands after eating your turkey sandwich?
Anyway, you just have to make sure you handle frequently. Of course its always possible that you just picked the wrong day to muck with your snakes.

Re: handing issues
Sometimes when you slack off on your handling, they can start to get a little aggresive. Just start handling them again everyday for about 5 minutes a day and increase that time as you feel is needed. Dont let there bites scare you away from handling, they will notice that when the bite they dont get messed with and that will start to become there typical reaction.

Re: handing issues
I would be cautious if your boas and burm are large. Make sure you always have someone with you when handling them.
I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to burms or boas but I know ball pythons will react with aggression if they are OVER handled.
