Blue feeding

Once in the past, my bp has eaten on the first day in blue. Today is his scheduled feeding day, and the first day of his being in blue. Normally, I'd feed him without question, however, I just moved him into a larger tub with different hides and substrate. He's adjusted there nicely, and has a very hearty appetite, striking and coiling within a minute of the live mouse being dropped in. What I'm asking is, should I feed today?

Somebody? Anybody? Also, he's yawned several times today. Is that a sign of RI? He also has whistling in his nose, but I believe that to be caused by loose skin in his nose.

how many days has he been in his new enclosure? Usually once they go blue I just don't even offer food until the shed is done. Many people here do it, many don't. It all comes down to whether or not your snake will eat and you won't know until you try it...

He's been in since the weekend, but sleeps and stays in his hide almost all the time, meaning he's unstressed, right?

I have always offered no matter what on feeding day sometimes they ate sometimes they didn't. But here is some food for thought..... I did have one of my girls that is always a hearty eater, I mean never misses a meal, and one feeding when she was in blue she had a bad strike and the mouse, thank god it was a mouse and not a rat, bit her close to her eye. She did not bleed but she did retain her eye cap when she shed. The eye cap came off with the next shed and her eye looks fine. Just be aware things can happen.

I say why bother, just let them chill and theyll be twice as hungry next feeding day. Once I notice one of my snakes' bellies go pink, I put a pink post it on their tub and dont bug them unless Im misting.

Try and offer him food if you like. It wont hurt. If he doesnt want to, then just take it away. No harm done.

Wont hurt to attempt to feed as long as you watch IMO. My refused on blue the prior feeding day but this last feeding day the both ate and shed as they ate so as the swallowed the skin moved with them so when the finished i had 2 solid sheds at the end of thier tails.

It just depends on the snake, usually mine turn it down unless its an asf. Man they love there asf's.
