No more 4 wheelers or mules for you , this isn't gory, you should have video taped the surgery

Haha now that would have been gory. I youtubed some surgeries the night before I had it done and that was a big mistake.
I was very close to backing out after I saw the power tools come out.

it might... i was in a car accident (day after enlistment) and ended up shattering my lower leg and did damage to the knee. i have a plate, 6 screws and work done on my knee to show for it. i still don't have much feeling in that knee or part of the leg.

That's pretty intense. .....when are you getting the rest of your bones done so you can rock out like Wolverine? If you wanna see some brutal surgery...look up some compartmental syndrome surgery on someones leg. it is brutal. I prolly have it, and need that....eeeeeeehh. I dont know about getting it after that. ::cringe::
Anyhow, looks like everything was closed up really nice. I hope you have a speedy recovery from that, and the numbness not being permanent. Did they mention anything about that? It might take a few days. Feel better!

yes they said that the numbness should go away but its not guaranteed. it actually looks pretty good because they put the stitches under the skin so it wouldn't leave a huge scar across my chest.
