    Awww. He is goreous!

So, how much heat are you taking off of the tradgedy in Florida. I get it everyday, and I only have ball pythons! I tell everyone, "I know a guy who raisdes tons of burms. He has a little boy, who has never been injured and is constatly around his snakes. That's becuase he is careful, and knows what he's doing. People get hurt because of human error." Hope you don't mind the reference. lol.

*clears throat* BTW where is cloe? I miss her

Re: Finally got this guy to TAME down!!!!!

Well ill tell you what the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life was to EVER let my family know about my passion for snakes. I have actually had to stop speaking to certain family members because the arguments have gotten so heated about my parenting. Apparently I do not care for my children because I keep snakes in the house.
But Ive told them numerous times Im not a stupid parent. If I thought for one second there was any way any of my snakes could get to my children and do any harm to them I would not have any snakes. But I keep mine in a room with padlocked doors Im the only one with a key into that room. My wife doesnt have a key to the room. If a snake harmed any member of my faimly I would never forgive myself for that so I take precautions to make sure that never happens (which every parent should do). But you get an idiot dope dealer that thinks a 6 foot python is cool and doesnt care about a 2 year old being in the house then your asking for trouble. I couldnt imagine what it was like for that little girl and honestly I think they should bring the guy to my house and ill stick him in the cage with chloe and let him see how it feels to die like that.

That is a horrible death and no body should have to endure that. And that snake should of never been able to get to that child. But people dont understand that for every idiot that lets there snakes kill them or kill someone else theres a 100 other keepers that keep there animals in secured caging away from people.

But we have finally gotten into a good home and we have a building that is in the process of being turned into a reptile building we have to put a heating and air system in it and Im thinking about building rooms inside of it to seperate the big snakes from the little snakes but im still not sure about that yet. But heres a pic of the building

And heres a pic of chloe from about a week ago I think she was about to get her cage cleaned and then get fed.

I have Ball Pythons, and live in Florida. EVERY dang person we run into asks about that story. It's really annoying.

nice burm; I thought it was a striped rock. hahaha

I also hate it when the "old folk" talk down on me coz I keep reptiles. But I also see hope when the younger peeps ask about my pets; especially my fave retic, Sayuri (the one in my avatar).

1.0 Dwarf Philippine Island Retic (Crixus)
    1.0 Normal Ball Python (Achilles)
1.0 miniature werewolf...lol...he's a cross bet. a Daschund and a Shih Tzu (Koda)

Once you go Retic, you get the best pick!

Same here. Apparently some family members on both sides seem to think that my snakes can escape their tubs and kill us both and the three dogs. I always laugh when I hear that. I only have Ball Pythons and the biggest one is 5.5 feet (and she already bit me & I made it out alive. Just some bruising).
