I really dont think thats a pewter, if so thats a really bad one, more like a pastel/bright normal.

It looks like a pastel. The lateral pattern is not typical of a pewter, more so of a pastel. The only thing that looks pewterish on that snake is the washed look to it, but pastels have this also. Here are my pewters

Whatever he is I ended up buying him. I saw it in person and just loved the way he looked. I have told myself he is just a pastel that might give me a suprise. The guy i got him from said he and a sib were practically silver and grey when he got them and that this one just put on more color as time gave. I really dont care tho i think he looks awesome.
