If you want a vodka and cranberry, or a whiskey and coke, etcetera, etcetera, don't get the $9 a shot, top shelf, delicious spirits. You don't look cool, and you definitely can't taste the difference between an Absolut and cranberry and Sprite, and a Grey Goose and Cranberry and Sprite, or a Johnny Walker Black Label and Coke and a Jim Beam and Coke. I'm not saying that people should get the house or bottom shelf spirit when they order a cocktail, but to order a delicious spirit, that deserves to be savored either on it's own, or with a splash of water, and dilute it with a bunch of fruity, syrupy, sugary crap makes you look like a freaking dipspit. That drives me absolutely crazy when I see that.

Sorry, back to the topic.
You are so freaking right, I can not tell!!!
Seeing people mixing up Grey goose or Russian Standard Platinum with Red Bull...
Same with people ordering super good single malt whiskeys "on the rocks"...
My favourite mixes are:
a) Caipirinha:nicer in the summer
b) Bourbon X Ginger Ale
c) Beer X Fassbrause (a german lemonade),only when it is really hot outside and I do not want to get to drunk, except this my rule is "No cranberry, no coke, no anything... BEER!"
