    I know another newbie thread

My first bp that I adopted about a month ago is about to go into shed. He is getting pink on his belly(Thurs.) is feeding day, should I go ahead and try to feed him tomorrow or should I wait until he is done w/ his shed? I'm feeding him one small rat once a week. Thanks in advance

My normal female will eat through shed even if her eyes are dark and she cant see a darn thing, she is a pig lol. my pastel male will eat through shed 1/2 the time.

They both usualy attack the feeder (I feed live) within seconds of offering. So if the male doesnt feel like attacking/eating 30mins after offering. I take the feeder out and save it for later. He will eat it after shed

I offer food during shed. Mine eat even when in blue. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try!

Exactly, just give him the prey item and he will eat it. If it's f/t you might have to entice him a bit, can't really see all that well.

Delilah's in shed right now, and she just gulped down a F/T mouse - for the first time nonetheless (she's only had live). But she refused a meal last week, when she was at the beginning opaque/pink stage... so I guess you can try, and see what kind of mood he's in!

Btw, do you feed live or F/T? I was just thinking that Delilah clearly prefers F/T during shed, since the live mouse last week freaked her out... I guess it's scary to have something running around when you can't see!
