Just keep offering food to her every week and she'll take it when she's ready. I don't think many people "give up" on feeding their captive bred snakes... They kinda rely on their owners to survive. I know I wouldn't.

Re: fair amount of time for non feeder

If you haven't had a chance to yet, I would encourage you to read the caresheet here: http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules/...warticle&id=59

Especially the part on "why won't my snake eat".

It could be a number of reason, and there's a check list that you can go over to try to figure off what is "off" for her.

Not knowing your set-up, the first thing I would do is check if the enclosure is too large, in a high traffic area, temps being measured with a digital device? Are hides snug and tight, does she spend most of her time in her hides? She should be, if she isn't. Can you give us more details? Even provide pictures of your set-up so that we can make suggestions for improvement.

Re: fair amount of time for non feeder

guess i should have put it differently i didnt mean give on her as a snake just as a snake for my collection .and ship her back to the breeder she came from. it isnt a housing thing as i have about 80to 85 bps and all eat on the reg .aswell as a few other types of snakes boes jungles suris corns .so im just lookng on input as a fair time to give her to eat before returning her

2 months isn't very long for a ball python. If you have 85 of them you should be aware of their fasts right?
