Re: Pied..
Piebalds are going to be priced in the thousands, like $2,000 or $3,000 sometimes more.

Re: Pied..
A pied is just a ball python with a special paint job, usually very pricey..

Re: Pied..
The price will depend on the amount of white, the more white the higher the price, expect to pay $1300 - $1600 much more for adults of course.
Is a BP a good snake for you? Well it will depends on your expectations and your ability to meet it's need.

Well, temperment isn't based on mutation. Do you mean is a bp a good first snake? Most will say yes, but it depends on the person. Try taking care of your bf's snake and see.

Wanted to add, if you're iffy about snakes you might want to start with something a little smaller.

The thing is I was never a snake person but since my bf got one i find myself on here all the time and googling things to find out more about his bp so i feel more comfortable around him. I just get so nervous when Im holding the bp that hes gonna strike at me.

Re: Pied..
Hi,
You might be able to get them cheaper at shows - possibly in the $1500 range I think - it also depends slightly on the amount of white on the animal with high whites being slightly more expensive.
But if that is the type you really like I say go for it.
It might take a bit longer to save for it but I'm a great beleiver in holding out for the animal you won't mind cleaning up behind for 20 years.
As to the biting thing trust me it will seem like such a non-event to you if it ever even happens.
