Anyone know how to get rid of headaches?

this may not help much, but there's a pressure point in the webbing between the thumb and index finger of your left hand. pinch the spot gently and the pressure will lessen within seconds. let go, and the headache is still there. i don't take pills, and this is how i deal with the pain when i need to speak or listen. other than that, coffee and sleep are the only two remedies i know of. i have taken excedrin for extreme headaches, and it works surprisingly well.

what i use to do cuz i didnt like taking pills is crunch it up and put it in some oj or if its the rubber pill take the capsal apart and pour it in some oj.

If its a sinus headache I take Tylenol severe allergy. Its the only thing that really works for me. And drink lots of water.
If its a Migrane Drink lots of caffeene. It shrinks the blood vessles in your head causing all the pain.
Those are temporary fixes. If you get headaches all the time you should try and figure out what is causing them. Keep a diary of everything you do and eat.
Also dont eat any processed foods. Most of the ingrediants in processd food is NOT EDIBLE.

I don't know if it would help you, but when I get a migraine, I turn on the tv, mute it, and take a nap.

My teacher once told me that you get headaches because not enough oxygen is getting to your brain. So try and take deep breaths, it works for me until I get dizzy lol. But IMO tylenol or motrin is the best option

I cure most of mine with getting a Mountain Dew, or other kinds of caffeine soda's... or by getting a coffee. If they don't do the trick I'll eat something and take some Tylenol.

Also, drink water. Make sure your water intake is enough (that would be from decaffeinated drinks, or just straight water)

I have terrible headaches that last days to weeks on end. I do not get much of a break from them and they knock me out sometimes for days at a time. They are not migraines, but no one knows for sure what causes them. I also (incidental finding) have a cyst the size of a Nerf football on my left temporal lobe but the wonders of Army medicine tell me that it is nothing to worry about. Either way, I feel your pain. Water or coffee help me sometimes, or a cool, damp rag draped over your eyes with the lights off.

I heard this same thing, but never tried it. It couldn't hurt to try.
