Why Didnt My BP Constrict

I Fed My New Ball Python A F/T Hopper Mouse It Took It In Less Then A Second But It Didnt Constrict Is That Normal.

It could have known it was already dead. I've heard of others doing this to F/T as well.

Some of my snakes will do this. My male BP does that when I feed him a second f/t fuzzy. The first time he wraps around once, but the second time he just swallows it once he gets ahold of it.

increase the meal size. Fuzzies/hoppers are usually WAY too small for ball pythons. Some pythons right form the egg will take a sm adult mouse.

When their small prey items they dont feel the need to waist the energy constricting. Also being already dead plays a roll as well.
