Tiffany you might want to check into your local zoo and any teen volunteering program they might run. Toledo Zoo has an amazing summertime teen volunteer program though I'm unsure of the age requirement. Just an idea though and to be honest you're unlikely to be handling reptiles but the learning experience at any zoo plus the exposure to professional keepers I think would be invaluable.

Like Wes said, you would probably be better off finding a local breeder who could use the help. You will probably end up learning a lot more, and child labor laws and minimum wage laws would likely be a problem for you at a shop.
